How to Obtain Your Public IP Address and Submit a Whitelist Request

Overview

This guide will walk you through the process of retrieving your public IP address using IPChicken.com and submitting a request to have it whitelisted through the JusticeOne support portal.

Step 1: Retrieve Your Public IP Address

To find your public IP address, follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.).
  2. Navigate to IPChicken.com.
  3. Your public IP address will be displayed prominently at the top of the page. (See below example, address has been redacted for security)

  4. Copy the IP address by selecting it (click and drag or double click on the address itself to highlight) and pressing Ctrl + C (Windows) or Cmd + C (Mac).

Step 2: Submit a Whitelist Request

Once you have copied your public IP address, submit a request to have it whitelisted:

  1. Open a web browser and go to JusticeOne Support Portal.
  2. Fill out the required fields in the ticket submission form (see image below for guidance).

  3. In the Description field, clearly state that you are requesting to whitelist your public IP address and paste the copied IP address. Example:

"Please whitelist the following IP address: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX."

  4. Provide any additional required details and submit the ticket.

Additional Notes

  • If you experience any issues retrieving your public IP address, try refreshing the IPChicken page or using an alternative service like WhatIsMyIP.
  • Ensure you are submitting the request from the correct network where access needs to be granted.
  • You may need to wait for up to 30 minutes for the whitelist to take effect.
