Correcting Import Errors
Officer Code Not Found Error
Please note that you will need the following information to correct this error:
1. The Import Error list that prints when attempting to run the Consolidated Ticket Import in VCMS. This error report displays the GSP
officer’s name and their badge number (officer code).
This error is corrected by entering the Officer’s badge number for the officer into the Activities, Code
Maintenance, Officer' menu in VCMS.
Step 1. Navigate to the Activities, Code Maintenance, Officers section VCMS to Locate the Officer.
Step 2. Locate the officer by using the search options. If the officer name cannot be found, the officer should be added to VCMS. See below instructions for Adding an Officer to VCMS.
Step 3. Choose the officer from the list and select the Edit Option on the officer maintenance screen.
Step 4. Enter the officer badge number into the GSP Conv Number field (if a trooper) or the correct Conv field if not a trooper, and select Save.
Step 5. Run the Consolidated Ticket Import again. This should correct the error and allow the citation to import.
