NIBRS Error Correction | Error 074 | Property must be submitted when NIBRS code contains an offense of Kidnapping/Abduction, Crimes Against Property, Drug/Narcotic Offenses, or Gambling Offenses
This could be one of two reasons: either you don’t have property, or
the officer didn’t associate the property with the correct NIBRS code.
•If no property, add it
•If there is no association with the
offense, follow along
•Go to
your Property
•Update
the field Associated Offense with the correct offense code
